The Beautiful Stockton Beach

A couple of days ago we decided to all pile in the 4WD and make the trip down to Stockton for some fishing and a picnic. We had been down a couple of weeks earlier and the kids loved it.

This time round it wasn't so easy getting on the beach with the rain we had last week, but we finally got there in the end.

The Sand dunes let off an amazing formation of shadow and light. I love how the light bouces around.

Some of the following photos were taken on our last trip and you can see how beautiful to shadows are.

On our last trip we also went down to the Sygna shipwreck. There isn't alot left of the boat now, due to corrosion but it is still amazing to see her in all her rusty glory.

And then there is Tin Town. A very small village of 4-5 buildings tucked away in the sand dunes. If you love the beach, it would be an amazing place to live.

This Kids even found a coconut at the entrance adn wanted to bring it home!

If you get a chance to get to Stockton Beach, please do. it is a beautiful spot right on our doorstop and makes for a great day out with the family.
